There were only a few days left to view Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) and Malte had never seen a Comet. So we decided to climb San Gorgoino (11,499 ft, 3505 m) and spend a night on the peak for our best chance to catch a glimpse.

Father/Daughter Trip September 2024

After my nephew finished his apprenticeship he took off 3 months for hiking. He started by hiking 600 miles south starting from the North Cape in Norway on the E1. Then he flew to California where I had planned an introduction the the Sierra Nevada.
