A tradition developed over a few years dictates that the hiking team kick off the new year with a punishing hike over San Onofre Ridge.
I am working on my Peakbagger SD County 100 list. Jack was looking for a workout. We got together Monday 17 Dec in Ramona and drove to Ranchita.
On Sunday 9 December I met up with Klaus, Carlos, Gaby, and Cheri in Oceanside. Everyone piled into my truck and we drove to my office at the School of Infantry.
Susana left for Argentina on Thursday 4 Oct. Saturday morning I hiked Monserrat with the Spartan group. Pretty easy day. Sunday I hiked it again with a twist.
It started on Sunday morning 26 Aug. No problems getting to the airport, parking in long term lot, shuttle to the airport, check bags, pass through security (we were TSA Pre so went quickly) and at the gate in plenty of time.
