Santa Rosa Mountain and Toro Peak June 2020
Headed out to the Santa Rosa Mountains and to Toro Peak, considered off-limits with a gate across the forest road and nasty signs.

Not your typical hike or bike adventure. More of a treasure hunt.

A HOGO (Hike One, Get One) that was almost too much for a solo hike.
Little Bear Mountain April 2020
After 2 months of quarantine, it was time to go to the mountains.
Yaqui Ridge March 2020
Parts of Anza Borrego Desert State Park were closed: camping grounds, parking lots, visitor center, and some developed trails, but limited hiking was still allowed.

It was a trip full of fun reconnection with family, meeting my youngest niece for the first time, meeting my parents’ new dog, and many beautiful (but cold) Vermont winter days. We wentContinue reading “Mt. Moosilauke (via Beaver Brook trail) NH”
