The start of Dorie and my 2-week Utah trip actually started in Nevada at the Valley of Fire State Park just north of Las Vegas. It was inhabited by the Anasazi over 1,000 years ago.

Water Hike
Uwe and Kevin have planned a hike for record speed up San Jacinto via the Skyline Trail. (9 miles 8,400 ft vertical gain). Kevin’s trying to break 4 hours and Uwe 5 hours.
