Uwe and Kevin have planned a hike for record speed up San Jacinto via the Skyline Trail. (9 miles 8,400 ft vertical gain). Kevin’s trying to break 4 hours and Uwe 5 hours.

During a visit to Albuquerque, NM we had some limited time for a hike. We decided on Pino trail since it’s a shorter trail and we hadn’t done it in over 23 years.

Quinn came down from San Francisco to spend some time with Dorie and me at the cabin. We decided to add a couple of hikes to the visit.

Susana left for Argentina on Thursday 4 Oct. Saturday morning I hiked Monserrat with the Spartan group. Pretty easy day. Sunday I hiked it again with a twist.
