Went back to Lake Hodges with a friend for some more kayaking. The yellow line approximates the route from the last trip here, the blue line shows this trip. This time we went to the dam and then all the way to I15 for a total of about 11 miles. There were lots of birds again with Great Egrets and Western Grebes dominating. We got some great fly-overs by flocks of egrets.<\/p>\n
