I chose Palomar High point and wanted a 6AM start but instead overslept and got ~8AM start (bad idea). All I brought was my running vest, water and some snacks.  It was hot the whole way! I made it up the Oak Grove Trail in 28 minutes and got to the summit in 1hr32min. I snapped a pic, ate some snacks and looked for my salt pills&#8230; I left them in the car! I started down, immediately started cramping, and consequently started cursing my own stupidity. I ran \/ walked through relentless cramps and finished car-to-car in 2hr50min. When I got back to my car the temp was 94 degrees!
